I'm Jake! Thanks for visiting my site.
I've been a professional artist since the age of fifteen, when I traded a sketch for a ride on a man's camel. Later in high school I designed the class letterhead, and as an underclassman in college I was paid to run the comics section of the school newspaper. Those were good times.
After graduation I spent the next few years as a freelancer doing what I love: writing, teaching and animating. I have a great respect for people who can do any of those three things really well (it just so happens I was born to a couple of them). Now I live in Manhattan and work as a full-time staff member to TV show animation team.
